The Santos 100 XL in stainless steel, reference 2656 — the square, screw-set case Louis Cartier first drew for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904, reworked at 38mm for the centenary collection. This 2015 example pairs a white dial with black Roman numerals and an automatic movement, worn on its original black crocodile leather strap. Presented in very good condition. Supplied as a full set with its box and papers.
