The Santos 100 XL in stainless steel, reference 2656 — the square, screw-set case Louis Cartier first drew for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904, reworked at 38mm for the centenary collection. This example, from around 2010, pairs a silvered dial with black Roman numerals and blue sword hands beneath sapphire crystal, with an automatic movement, worn on a black leather strap. Presented in good condition, with light scratches and surface marks to the case and bezel consistent with normal use; the strap shows some wear. Supplied watch only.
